I picked her up at the hotel at 2 pm. She was waiting for me in the lobby, we recognize each other at first sight. She is very old but very cute and she asked me if she is my oldest guest yet. I nodded and she said we were like two grandchildren. Then we started our cruise.

On the way, she asked me if I had eaten lunch and she had not eaten, so I decided to take her to go out to eat dim sum first. We ordered two servings of food and two cups of coffee. She was very fond of coffee in Vietnam and called it the best coffee in the world. I fell like this was a street food tour :). We inquired about each other a lot, she came from Canada, now retired, she used to work in the bank and taught business. She also showed me lots of pictures of where she is and her house and she loves to travel.

After we finished eating, we departed to the Thien Hau temple. At the Thien Hau Temple, I told her about the architecture, history, feng shui, explain meaning everything in the temple. She asked me at the temple here was very different from the time she had been before. I explained to her that here was the temple where worshiped gods or heroes. On the other hand, the pagoda worshiped Buddha and there were monks.

Then we came to Tam Son Temple, here is look like Thien Hau Temple, so we just looked around the temple. We walked through the door of the Temple together to show respect. Then, she saw the symbol look like the symbol of Hitler, so she asked me the meaning of the symbol and I told her the reason it appears in the chest of the Buddha is to say the meaning of Buddha’s complete enlightenment. After that we came to Quan Cong Temple, I told her about the history of Quan Cong, Lucky god, the meaning gold tower,…She also really liked the architecture here so she took a lot of pictures.Next, we came to Binh Tay market. Because the market was repairing, so we came to the temporary market. She really loved the atmosphere here.

Ending

Finally, we came to her hotel at 5h: 30 pm. After our Chinatown tour, we said goodbye each other and I wished her a good trip to Vietnam
