This was our first tour after more than 2 months for offteam. We picked them up at the hotel earlier because both of us did not know the road, about 8 AM.
20 minutes later, we began our tour.
Because their hotel was close to War Remnants Museum, therefore, we decided to start visiting from Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, SAIGON Post Office, SAIGON Opera House, Nguyen Hue Walking Street to Ben Thanh Market.
The 1st destination: War Remnants Museum.
Before starting our tour, Anne said she wanna going to the museum because she do like History. And when entering the museum, I saw that she looked at the pictures and was sad.
Next, we moved to the second destination. On the road, we talked about travelling, weather, hobbies, traffic and so on. She said that she and her husband had travelled many places in Viet Nam such as Ha Noi, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, Hue, Ho Chi Minh City, etc. She did not like the weather in HCMC, because it was so hot and she was afraid of the traffic in Viet Nam because it’s crazy. I advised her not to hesitate when crossing the road. She did not like the smell of durians, not pleasant.
Besides, I also told her about romantic love story of Nguyen Cao Ky and Dang Tuyet Mai.
The 2nd destination: Notre Dame Cathedral
They exlaimed “wow”. After I and Danh introduced about its history, strutures, clock, Lady of peace, the bells, etc; they wanna take photos to memorize.
The 3rd destination: SaiGon Post Office
We also introduced about architecture, map and something of that place. Unfortunately, we did not meet Mr Duong Van Ngo. Danh explained her husband why these places have the watches.
We stopped to buy water at Circle K and then, we continued visiting SaiGon Opera House.
The 4th destination: SG Opera House
The 5th destination: Nguyen Hue walking street
They were excited with the People’s Committee, and Sai Gon ơi. We talked about the atmosphere of this place at night, so bustling! We said that if they had had a chance, they should have walked around and tried drinking egg coffee and wealsel coffee.
The last destination: Ben Thanh Market.
After we talked about information of this place, her husband came into a shop which sold watches to change his watch chain, cost: 300k.
We said goodbye with them, because they’d like to visit Ben Thanh Market by themselves.
In short, this was a quite interesting tour.
To do better, we will improve our English and skills everyday
