I came to the hotel and we met at the reception and my guests invited me a lemonade. Elliott booked a grab car and we moved to the first place Thien Hau temple.

The Tour

Along the way to the first place we Miriam asked me a lot of questions about myself, my school, my family, etc. She told me she was born in agricultural family and when she studied at University she had to borrow the loan from the government and after having graduated she paid it.Elliott was a tour guide in Egypt and he told me about his job. In the Thien Hau temple I told her about the legendary of Thien Hau (The lady of the sea), those porcelain picture, about the incense, incense burner, Mazuism is syncretized between Buddhism and Taoism, the structure and some stories about Hoa people (Chinese immigrants). In Quan Cong temple, I told them the stories of Quan Cong who was the famous general in novel about Three Kingdoms period. Miriam had knowledge about feng shui and she was interested in moon gate.

A new destination of Ho Chi Minh City Chinatown tour

After two temple, we walked to Cha Tam church. They were so surprise with the church, the architecture was the combination between Gothic and Chinese culture style. They took together many pictures in the tour. The tour finished earlier I intended and I found that my guests was hungry so I took them to Ho Thi Ky market, however, Elliott followed Muslim so he couldn’t eat pork, beef and chicken, so we decided to try sea food noodles in there.

Saying goodbye

We said goodbye and I booked a grab car for them to back to the hotel. My guests were very humorous and friendly.
