I picked up my guests at 9a.m. After having introduced ourselves, we booked grab car to go to Thien Hau temple.
During the tour
In there, I told them about Thien Hau – the lady of the sea that Hoa people (Vietnamese Chinese) deified and the structure of that temple and other things related to Mazuism, etc. My guests by the circle incense and had it hung on. They followed Buddhism and also had belief of God, they prayed for themselves and their families.
And then we moved to Quan Cong temple which place worshiped Guan Yu – a famous general in Three Kingdoms period. And they had bought some stickers which were written the name of them and their families to pray for happiness. I also introduced them the structure of this temple and Elizabeth said that It looked exactly the same to other Guan Cong temple in other countries like Taiwan or Singapore. However, I told her that for Asian people might be that was not a new place but for other countries they liked experience that one to have knowledge about Asian culture.
Finally place we visited was the Cha Tam church, they was very surprised about the church. The church was the combination between Western style and Chinese style. So they took a lot of photos in there.
Then they told me they felt starving and I recommended them to try Banh Cuon (steamed rolled rice pancake). We talked about many things about their jobs and their countries, etc. They loved Banh Cuon and they told me they had eaten it before.
I really love those girls, they’re so kind and adorable.🤗🤗🤗
